EM Engineer

Remcom, an electromagnetic software simulation company in State College, Pennsylvania seeks motivated individuals with an aptitude and interest in solving challenging problems in Electromagnetic Modeling & Simulation and Software Development. We currently have an opening for the following position:

Electromagnetic Engineer (Mid and Senior Levels)

Research and apply physics, engineering, and electromagnetic theory to solve challenging real-world problems for wireless communications, antenna radiation, radar scattering, and other applications for industry and government. Develop algorithms and prototype software, and develop or extend capabilities of simulation software. Perform simulations and analysis to test software or perform scientific research studies.

Applicants should have some computer programming skills; C++ and object-oriented programming, and experience with analytical tools such as MATLAB preferred.

Desired areas of experience:

  • Computational electromagnetics

  • Wireless Communications

  • Topics in 5G, such as MIMO and millimeter waves

  • Propagation models

Education: Masters in EE, Physics, Computer Engineering, or related technical field; PhD desired.

All applicants must be U.S. Citizens, and have the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
